Manurewa High School U15 v Waikato Representative U15

Manurewa High School’s under-15 rugby academy team won the Counties Manukau Rugby Union championship this year and were invited by Waikato Rugby Union to play against their under-15 representative team on Saturday 24 October.
This game was held at 5.30pm on Rugby Park in Hamilton and was the curtain raiser to the Air NZ Cup fixture Waikato vs Auckland.
The Manurewa team played superbly and despite being 11-10 down at half time, went on to win the game 29 – 16. The five try scorers were Shaun Atamu, Raymond Fuilala, Jefferey Filivaa, Richard Moriata and Noel McLean. A big thanks to the team managers Mr & Mrs Paraha, coach on the day Mr Talaimanu and all the parents who came down to support.
