One of Manurewa High School�s outstanding engineering students from 2011 has begun his tertiary studies with a boost. Henri has just been awarded a $1000 Engineering Scholarship to MIT.

Winners of last year's Pacifika Beats music competition, Manurewa High School's 'Rubber Band' took centre stage at the Raggamuffin Reggae Music Festival held in Rotorua last week.

Regional Ambassador Scholarship Award

Even more great news on the scholarship front. Joshua Hughes recently applied to go on a student exchange to Germany in August 2012 with worldwide organization �EF� (Education First). This week EF announced that Joshua was the winner of their regional scholarship campaign, which selects top New Zealand students to be ambassadors for their region.
