Opening Up
(a) Unload onto verandahs & then to lodge / chalets to avoid walking in dirt & mud.
(b) Check buildings, accompanied by Caretaker.
- - -Check conditions of all buildings. List damage to windows etc. 
- - -Check carefully for graffiti.
- - -Fill in Appendix 1 for fire drill.
- - -Check firefighting equipment.
- - -Go through rubbish disposal procedure with group. 
(c) Be aware of fire procedures and meeting places.

Closing Procedure
Kitchen- Clean stove and drip tray and behind small stove.
- - - - - - - Clean kitchen walls, servery benches.
- - - - - - - Clean cupboards & pantry and ensure clear of food scraps.
- - - - - - - Defrost fridge/leave open. Clear chiller and clean floor.
- - - - - - - Clean tables.
- - - - - - - All cooking utensils to be left clean.

Lodge- Fold and stack tables and seating.
- - - - - - Sweep and mop lodge floors.
- - - - - - Fireplace cleaned.
- - - - - - Power off. Locked
- - - - - --Fill out maintenance book in pantry

Chalets- Swept clean, mopped.
- - - - - - - Draw curtains & Power off.
- - - - - - - Lock doors. Windows shut. 

Ablutions Block - Cleaned. All containers emptied.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Locked

With Caretaker- Damage, graffiti and cleanliness check.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - All rubbish to be removed.
