The government has announced this afternoon that senior students (Y11-13) will be able to return to school on Tuesday 26th October. We understand that there will be mixed emotions and concerns about this and we encourage the continued conversations so we can work through this as a community. Health & Safety at COVID-19 Alert Level 2

Alert Level 2 key principles: 

The overriding principles for Alert Level 2 as noted by the Prime Minister are: 

  • Minimise the risk of someone getting infected in the first place 
  • Ensure we can identify and contact anyone who becomes infected 
  • Understand that Level 2 is not business as usual

 At Manurewa High School Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Maori are an important and special part of our school. COVID-19 Update 14th February 2021

As you will already be aware the government announced this evening that there are three community COVID-19 cases in South Auckland, Auckland is moving to Alert Level 3 from midnight tonight until midnight Wednesday 17th February. Therefore, school will be closed tomorrow for all students apart from those of essential workers under 14 years of age who have no other whaanau available to look after them. Read More...

TRACK AND TRACING AT CELEBRATIONS 

In line with government requirements we are asking that everyone who attends an event at school in the coming weeks complete track and tracing upon arrival at the school hall.

This can be done in one of two ways:

  1. Using the tracer app and the QR code provided or
  2. Filling in a manual form provided

If you are using the Tracer app we ask that you select

Exciting New Revamped WAANANGA programme Welcome back to school, Today Pounamu and TAM,  and on Thursday Kootuku and Ahi. On Wed ALL Y12 and Y13 students are invited to attend our newly revamped WAANANGA program.
