We are seeking pedagogical leaders with strong educational practices and the drive, energy and ability to work with the current Senior Leadership Team of a Principal and four other Deputy Principals. We are looking for leaders who will be:
- Committed to improvement in academic achievement for underperforming groups (Maori & Boys) across all levels
- Adept at implementing strategies that allow us to continue to develop our culturally responsive pedagogy and strengthen cultural identity across our school community
- Confident in contributing to the implementation of an integrated & responsive learning environment for aspects of all our curriculum, that effectively uses technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Supportive of creating a future pathways strategic plan for developing our curriculum for integration with the business academy and a 21st century learning environment

SUPPORTED LEARNING TEACHERS (2 positions). We are seeking two outstanding teachers for our learning support area, who are able to teach Y9–11 students at levels 1–4 of the NZC. The successful applicants will be an energetic, passionate and skilled teachers with strengths in literacy, numeracy, assessment, and classroom management. You will need to have the ability to build positive relationships with students with a diverse range of needs, and be willing to work as part of a collaborative team essential.
SENCo (1 position) 4MU and 1MMA . An exciting opening has arisen for a SENCo who is well organized, has effective communication skills, efficient, reliable and motivated. The purpose of this role is to, in collaboration with the Senior Leadership team of the school, deliver a SEN provision that ensures all identified students are able to access a diverse curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising the attainment and achievement of SEN students through delivering tailored support structures, and line managing a team of Learning Support Assistants to support students’ progress and development.
HEAD OF LEARNING SUPPORT (1 position) 2MU 1MMA. A vacancy exists in our Learning Support learning area for an innovative middle manager with strengths in special educational needs, literacy, numeracy, assessment and classroom management. The successful applicant will help strengthen the home-school partnership and will teach core subjects in a homeroom setting supported by appropriate resources. Primary training is an advantage. Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team essential.
TE PAE TAWHITI TEACHER A vacancy exists in Te Pae Tawhiti, our Modern Learning Environment designed to help Year 9s work towards their dreams, for a classroom teacher with strengths in behaviour management, technology, the NZ key competencies, inquiry learning and bi-cultural pedagogy. The successful applicant will work well in a team of three other teachers, show initiative and demonstrate an interest and capacity to grow and develop as a professional. Experienced teachers who can develop trusting relationships with students should apply. Experience using the teacher inquiry model preferred.
ASSISTANT TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS - Our Mathematics Learning Area is seeking a person who is committed to education, open to learning, willing to be supported or brings experience in our move to a digital learning environment and can make a commitment to the schools restorative practices.

ASSISTANT HEAD OF LEARNING - TECHNOLOGY - The successful applicant must have the ability to deliver a specialist area(s) from Year 9 to Year 13 in a progressive learning area. The ability to support the Head of Learning, work as part of a team and lead staff in both new and existing initiatives will be fundamental in developing the learning area.
