Reminder - PPTA

Please read the following reminders about PPTA action to date.

1. PPTA proposed strike action cancelled for June 25 and July 2, 2019.  All students are to attend school as usual on these days.

2. PPTA have advised Manurewa High School of an upcoming paid union meeting for teacher members on Thursday 27 June.

The Board has carefully considered the availability of teaching staff, and unfortunately decided that we can’t provide the normal teaching services during the meeting so the school will finish early on Thursday 27 June at 12:45pm.

We will however be able to accept a limited number of students for supervision if required. Our library will be open and supervised by non-union staff to support those whaanau and staff who are unable to make childcare arrangements.

School bus runs are unable to be changed so will operate at the usual times. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
