PHYSICS AND / OR HORTICULTURE TEACHER

Full time, permanent position

We seek a skilled and motivated Science Teacher with Physics and / or Horticulture that lives our school whakataukii of ‘Piki Atu ki te Rangi – Aim High, Strive for Excellence’ and exemplifies our school values of Respect, Excellence, Whanaungatanga and Akoranga. 

We seek a skilled and motivated curriculum leader who is: 

• Passionate about teaching and learning 
• A team player and willing to be supportive of a team culture 
• Experienced or innovative when developing Physics and/or Horticulture programmes
• Passionate about integrating maatauranga Maaori into Science programmes 
• Experienced or willing to be supported in a digital learning environment
• Willing to make a commitment to the school’s restorative and culturally sustaining practices
• Interested in fostering whaanau and community relationships
