Prime Minister's Award for Black Bulb Company

Our Young Enterprise Students, the Black Bulb Company, have won the Business and Enterprise Award at this year's Prime Minister's Pacific Youth Awards.

The Black Bulb Company have attracted much attention this year with their hugely successful black garlic aioli and puree products.  Last night at the Prime Minister's Pacific Youth Awards the students received the ultimate accolade - the Business and Enterprise Award, with a $10,000 cash prize to invest in business growth and development.

The students are all heading to university next year, and we will be cheering their future progress as they take the Black Bulb Company further thanks to a business 'accelerator' programme they are undertaking with support from the Lion Foundation.

These students have worked incredibly hard this year and are fully deserving of their success.  We wish them well next year!

The Black Bulb Company are:
  • Raniella San Sebastian, 18 (CEO)
  • Wilson Lesa, 18
  • Mile Fonoia, 18
  • Naotia Atiana, 17
